There are 7 main chakra centers in the body, and when one chakra is out of balance it can cause us to feel mentally, physically and or emotionally “off.” The good news is that there are things that we can do to balance our chakras whether they are over-stimulated or sluggish.
Take a moment to center yourself and ask your higher guidance the question: “Which of my chakras needs balancing?”
Select the color that you are most drawn to. This color will reveal the chakra that requires a little balancing for you at this time.
1. The Root Chakra
The Root Chakra is the area from the hips down to your feet. This chakra deals with family, love, social relationships and our basic foundation.
The suggested remedies are:
- Wearing the color red
- Eating red meat, spinach, caffeine, and spicy foods
- Wear and or carry the following crystals – smoky quartz, red jasper, ruby, tiger’s eye and hematite
- Meditation, prayers, charity and selfless sharing
2. The Sacral Chakra

The suggested remedies are:
- Wearing the color orange
- Eating chocolate, bananas, oranges and carrots

3. The Solar Plexus Chakra

4. The Heart Chakra
The Heart Chakra is in front of and behind the physical heart and chest area. It our connection to the Divine, self and relationships with others.

6. The 3rd Eye Chakra
The 3rd Eye Chakra is the area in the center of our forehead, just above the eyebrows. It is the center for our psychic gift of clairvoyance, the ability to see the future and psychic energy.
