A shocking 23,000 yr old “Venus” with a “derriere like Kim Kardashian’s” has been unearthed in Russia, say scientists.
The “fantastically delicate” naked Paleolithic beauty was carved from woolly mammoth tusk.
The statuette features a whopping great bum which will look familiar to anybody who witnessed Kim “break the web” by exposing her own prodigious posterior.
It was discovered within the Bryansk area of Russia.
Dr Konstantin Gavrilov, from the Stone Age department of Moscow’s Archeology Institute, led the expedition that found it.
He mentioned: “This statuette photos a rather portly woman, nevertheless it looks fantastically delicate, probably as a result of long and thin legs.”
Others suggested a more modern lookalike for the 2 inch high ancient treasure and compared it to Kim Kardashian, reported The Siberian Times.
It appears to depict a “cult of fertility”, mentioned Dr Gavrilov, however then indicated this was impossible since it predated the existence of agriculture.
The “Venus” is made from “mammoth tusk and it portrays a fat, maybe pregnant lady, with a big belly and bust,” he mentioned.
Venus was the ancient Greek god of love and sex.
“A part of the bust and belly has peeled off, along a natural crack within the tusk,” Dr Gavrilov added.
However the rear view remains intact from 23,000 years in the past.
“The figurine was discovered close to large limestone layers and parts of mammoth bones that were painted with a mineral sienna paint.
“Most likely, the statuette was put subsequent to the bones on the ground rather than ‘buried’ like other ‘Venuses’” found in Russia.”
Most specialists believed such prehistoric statuettes are “ceremonial” and “ritual” objects, he mentioned.
Other Venuses have been found in Russia, notably close to Lake Baikal in Siberia, however on closer inspection a few of these were, in reality, clothed.
The newest discover was made among bones of mammoths, bison, and flint stones in a 23,000 yr old layer at archaeological site Khotylyovo-2.
